I’m Oliver Simons, DOP, videographer, photographer and editor based in London and Kent, UK.

I am also the Creative Director of Chemikal Studios, a small boutique production company. We help teams of equal parts scientists, artists, and explorers tell bold stories through cinematic video production.

In 2017, after graduating from Birkbeck University of London with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and History, I began freelancing for clients, creating story-driven visuals that meaningfully engage audiences.

Eight years later, a reliable self-shooter, I have extensive experience in video production, from creative direction to post-production, including sound design, colour grading and animation. As a registered drone operator, I also produce aerial content for clients.
